Hi. My name is Lisa, and I'm a manga addict.

So, I picked up volume two of a manga called Cantarella. It's about Cesare Borgia, and how his father agreed that Satan could have Cesare's soul if he himself got to be pope. And Cesare clearly has at least one demon in him. The translation says "demons", but it looks like a single parasite demon to me. It heals Cesare with Vitality. There's something definitely tainted in Cesare's blood. And his friend warns him about drawing on the demonic powers too often, lest he lose control.

And, hey, Italian Ren.

Hmm. Should I read this?

But talking about possible Sorceror source material...Bartimaeus Trilogy (which like so many books these days, has its own website: http://www.bartimaeustrilogy.com/.  An alternative modern Britain (more or less) is ruled by magicians who secretly derive all or most of their power from summoning and binding demons or forcing them into objects, with a lot of the drama deriving from the conflict between a magician and his primary demon.  Never heard of the concept before. :)

Yes. It's a quick read, and hey, Italian Ren.
