Between Story Games and RPGtalk, it feels like I have access to the birthday forum kind of communication with Forge-i-zens every day.

In the last year we've see the diaspora in the blog-o-sphere, new forums and this weekend an out and out Forge gathering.  I'm excited to see what the next year brings.

Ok, so how does one get an invite to RPGTalk?

Looks like some interesting discussion there.

Hi Frank,

As I've understood it you ask one of the participants for an invitation to join.

As I'm not sure I have something to contribute I haven't done that myself though, so not sure if it works.

But yeah, it's a really nice place.

I get a lot out of reading the discussions there at the moment.

Conspiracy of Shadows: Revised Edition
Everything about the game, from the mechanics, to the artwork, to the layout just screams creepy, creepy, creepy at me. I love it.

I was thinking the exact same thing: "Hmm, now that we got Story Games, the b-day forums aren't really that big of a deal anymore."

Of course, it reminded me that I only participated in one birthday so far, i.e., I've only participated in these circles for less than two years.

If anyone wants to be a member of RPGTalk, PM me and I'll "Knight You".

It's not a high and mighty social club where you get 'invited'. You just have to ask. I asked for an invitation, even. It's done to simply manage growth, so there's no Explosion-Implosion effect. Good planning on Clinton's part.
The Story Games Community - It's like RPGNet for small press games and new play styles.
