Well, I decided to wait to reserve a room at the Marriott by the con center.... and now they are out of 2-bed rooms. Go figure. I guess I should have gone with my original plan and reserved the room back four months ago.

So... um... *sigh*... the next best one I can see is the Marriott down the street a bit, about half a mile away (grumble grumble) which still has two-bed rooms for 200$ a night.

Now I am officially, really asking if anyone is interested in sharing a room. Or if anybody has an alternative that is either cheaper or closer, without sacrificing the other end of that equation (ie cheaper and farther is no good, nor is closer and significantly more expensive).

I'm sleeping on the floor, so there'll be room for 4 other people on the two beds.

Next year I'll listen to myself and do what I originally planned, and reserve six months out. Dammit.

 D.

I've got space in the Embassy and would be happy to share. Send me an e-mail.

I'm a bit late in scrounging around for a room as well. If there are other people in the same boat, I have some leads on nice space in the immediate area that isn't on the normal radar (but is only a block or two from the convention center). But it requires at least 4 people to make it a viable option (it's kitchen-equipped suites).

If there is no interest (or not enough), I'll probably try to find crash space with someone else.

Greg, let me know if you want to share on mine, too. I definitely have room.

Well,
Brennan's room is full and people aren't interested in splitting the suite I found, so I'm looking for a place to crash two people for Wed night through Sat night at GenCon. Anyone got room?
