Dice instead of cards

I purchased the game several months ago but being a traditional gamer I am having trouble getting players to try to give a game using cards a chance (and am having trouble wrapping my own mind around the card mechanics).  I was wondering if there has been any alternative DICE instead of cards mechanics that has been used? Maybe dice pools with different kinds of dice or something. (Heroes start with 4 siders while the narrator starts with 8's or something).

Any ideas?

If anyone has any ideas on how to do WGP... with dice, please post and help out sourflower. I specifically chose to use cards because I couldn't figure out how to get the effects I wanted with dice.
