Art for arts sake?

Hi all,

Cheers for piping in everyone, it's certainly interesting stuff. I have no experience so far in self publishing, so hearing what options are available is most interesting. I have just had a look at the latest EvilHat game (the Pulp-style game on preorder), and looking at what they have - nice layout, minimal art - that might be the way I go with my project. But it's good to hear all the options, and I was not aware that 2nd hand art was even a possibility.

I have another question about pricing for art....but i think that's a new thread.
