Arrived last night!

From a first look-over, it's clean-looking and well-written. I'm definitely going to plan on running at TerpCon this year if I can make it.

So far, I think it was worth the wait, and I haven't gotten into the good stuff yet :)

Got a copy as well yesterday. Thanks, Mark! Now I'm really going to have to push Mythic Russia at cons.

Haven't gotten to reading it yet (though I've already seen a lot of it), but the book looks nicely laid out, and I'm looking forward to consuming it in it's entirity. I'll post more on it here when I've done so.

I saw Mythic Russia at Continuum and thought that if ever I wanted to run a game set in Mythic Russia (and I've played one using D&D), then Mythic Russia would but what I would use.

It's got Russian mythology, Christian saints, great layout and artwork and has plenty to keep a slew of bogatyrs occupied for months.

Just a quick update:

Comrades!

The main shipment of Mythic Russia books -- both hard- and softback --
has cleared customs and is due to be delivered to me tomorrow or
Wednesday. Preordered books will go out in the next few days, as will
those copies ordered directly by shops (in the UK, for example,
Leisure Games and Spirit Games will both be stocking the game).
Esdevium now have their consignment, so those shops which buy from
them can also order it.

All I can do is thank everyone for their patience and hope that you
enjoy the book when it does reach you.

(And perhaps it is worth quoting another Russian proverb: "Patience
and hard work will get through anything eventually.")

When people have had a chance to read and digest, any feedback will be welcome.

Mythic Russia is on the Esdevium Games "new releases" list this week, so it should be hitting the shelves of UK game shops around now.
