Deamon Cops at Hexaon

There's an RPG convention coming up in June here in Phoenix (AZ).  I was thinking of trying to run some demo "Indie" games.  I just got my copy of Deamon Cops.  It seems like an ideal game for a one-shot, since it cleaves so closely to the cop story that everyone will be familiar with (I guess the only way it could conform more to the genre if I did a buddy cop thing: "She's a deamon cop with a thirst for justice, he's an interdimensional blob of goo who likes to roam around and has a fairly  low power score.  Together, they fight crime!").

Any thoughts?  Does anyone have a good one-shot scenario that they've used?

Hi Gary,

I suggest pirating from a good cop or law-enforcement show of some kind. If you change the serial numbers enough (ie demons, Diablo del Rey details of all sorts, sorcery in the back-story), it should work fine.

I do suggest using pre-generated characters. Demon Cops characters are fun to make up and easy to internalize on the fly.

Best,

That's funny, I came to a similar conclusion after getting Demon Cops. I'm going to try to run my Players through a DC one-off, which I'll then run as a demo at GenCon (should people want to play).
