Nothing like a list of 70 upper-level scientists' predictions for the future to get your game of Shock: rolling. Now that you have the science, all you have to do is come up with the social implications to cross-reference them against.

HA! I bought the latest issue of NS for exactly that reason.

There is good stuff in here about the Big Questions as well (life, death, reality, free will and a therory of everything).

Black cover, gold type, anniversary subscribtion for 79 (79 is the atomic number of gold).

Highly recommended, not just for Shock.
