Hi all,
Some of us over at NerdSoCal are putting together the list of games we'll be running.
Here's the link for Orccon 2007
http://www.strategicon.net/
Here's the link for NerdSoCal

Currently you'll see the schedule for the games we're starting to schedule on the front page under the heading, OrcCon 2007 Event Planning.
It's a chance for GMs to add into the mess, and for players to see what sorts of Indie Games will be offered at OrcCon.

I've only recently become aware that Strategicon is now under new management.
Paul Tevis, of
http://havegameswilltravel.libsyn.com/
is now in charge of the RPG games, assisted by Denys, a GM who has run trad and new-fangled games there for years.
Although the con has gotten kind of mangy of late, there's a real push to drive up attendance and games. I know that when I was there for the last con I had a blast playing a bunch of indie games. I'm expecting to continue that tradition in February.
So, who in the area thinks they might be able to make it? Who thinks they might be able to run something? What do you want to run? What would you want to play that would get you to show up? Who could you bring along?
The more games we have on the website, the more it will draw more players.
Also, as things stand, if you Volunteer for eight hours (run two game sessions), your badge fee is reimbursed. If you Volunteer for 24 hours, the con will reimburse your hotel cost (that's a lot of gaming, but isn't that why'd you go!?)
So if you could help shape a weekend at a con, what would you be running and playing?
