Hi all. I bought the .pdf from the frontpage earlier, but I have not yet recieved it. Does Mr Harper email it out himself, or should I have gotten a link to it once I finished the paypal payment?

Just a little worried since, you know, the internets can be evil. And I want to examine the rules, i've got a Trojan War oneshot i'm contemplating...

It's a manual process. John usually gets it to you within 24 hours, but call it "one business day" to be sure.

Cool, thanks! :) Out of interest, are there any pre-generated stats for some of the more well-known greek heroes or is character creation so fast it's not really needed?

It's fast, though I think what you're suggesting would be a great "forum project".

I asked pretty much the same question last weekend over at rpg.net.

Some stats for the classical Greek Heroes both fictional and non would be a fantastic forum project.

Yeah.  And doing it over on RPG.net Open, I think, would help give Agon some better exposure.  I hope it happens.

Hopefully you have your PDF by now. I sent it earlier today.

I think doing some Agon stats for legendary Greek heroes over on RPGnet is a great idea. More exposure for the game is always good. If anyone starts such a thing, post a link here. The RPGnet search engine has been letting me down lately and I've missed a few recent Agon threads. Thanks!

Small threadjack, since you mention it...

(I just visually scan the first 3 to 4 pages of RPG Open threads once every day or two... but I'm not always good about passing along the Agon stuff)

I do the occasional 'work' for a RPG review site over at www.timewastersguide.com and the editor was recently asking for any npc statups or quest adventures that could be put into .pdf format and given some art (we have an artist on staff who can sometimes be persuaded). So if we do this then I could get it hosted in a permanent capacity on a website. Plus it would expose AGON to the readership of TWG...

That sounds great.

I only ask that you not do Leonidas and the Spartans, since I'll be doing an "official" (and free) SPARTANS! game pack around the time the 300 film comes out. But otherwise, go nuts. :-)
