Howdy All,

So, I'll be visiting a friend in Phoenix in a couple of weeks, and he's going to DarkCon (well, he's running some stuff - M&M and WFRP).

Anyone going to be attending?  I'll have SotC with me, and likely one or two more (Agon, or PTA m'be).

Bueller ... ?  Bueller ... ?  ;)

Hiya,

Let's have these threads become beacons for off-site coordinating. I'm OK with them starting here, but to be real threads, they have to concern concrete activities or get-togethers, not just "I'll be there" posts.

Best, Ron

Sorry - I guess I didn't pick up on that fully when I read the "How to use the Convention Forums".  My bad.

Well, I'll be looking to run some SotC Friday night, specifically.  Folks can PM me if interested.

Regards.

Hey there,

It sounds like it's kosher to reply with a listing of the events I'll be running at Dark Con. On Thursday afternoon (1pm-5pm) and Friday morning (8am-Noon) I'll be running playtests of my upcoming pulp storytelling game "The Committee for the Exploration of Mysteries." I see you're an SotC fan, so you like the pulps. My game tries to capture that genre while coming at things from a totally different mechanical angle than SotC - think a crunchier version of the old Hogshead Baron Munchausen game.

I'm also running a game of Dogs in the Vineyard on Saturday morning (8am-Noon).

Alexander Cherry of Fastlane fame will be attending as well and running demos of his game throughout the con.

Of course, John Wick is a special guest at the con and will be running Thirty and Discordia! in the evenings. Other than these events, I don't know of any other indie gaming on the schedule.

Hope to see you at some events.

Cheers,

Eric
