[SotC] Minion Questions

Hey Fred (and gang),
Question 1
When buying minions can you mix and match minions? Example:
Minion Stunt 1 - I buy 3 Good Minions and 3 Average Minions
Minion Stunt 2 - I buy 12 Average Minions
I now split my minions into 3 groups:
1 Good (3) Minion + 6 Average Minions = Fantastic Group
1 Good (3) Minion + 5 Average Minions = Superb Group
1 Good (3) Minion + 4 Average Minions = Superb Group
Question 2
Can you use the Minion's stunt to buy companion "options" for your minions or is that just unnecessary?
Question 3
What happens if you engage minions outside of their conflict type?
i.e. I get the drop on physical minions and engage them in a social intimidation conflict to get them out of the way.
Do they simply count as being Mediocre + Group bonus?
Question 4
Can Minions be given gadgets that were purchased with Resources?
i.e. Can I give my Good Minions a Tommy Gun with Craftsmanship?
Thanks.

A1: Minion stunts stack to give you a total number of picks which you can distributed/spend however you like. It's not meant to be a 1:1 stunt:minion group correspondance, just a general supply.
A2: Not as written (but that might be a fun way to build uber-minions).
A3: Mediocre, yes. (At least the way I'd run it.)
A4: As written, no, but that's a fun idea, so I wouldn't stand in the way of it.
