I'm bringing the flooring, and I assume we're doing the same thing as last year regarding tables and chairs? And, just to drool over and think about for the future:

No idea on the price, but like the flooring, it wouldn't take much to be competitive given the normal rental charges.

Those look nice, Greg.  I'm afraid people would break those chairs, though.

Fred, I'll defer to the experts on logistics.

Well, we should get going on this, shouldn't we? Anyone I address in the following, please feel free to take it to private email* if you'd rather. Either way.

Paul, what's the status on the chairs? Are they still slated for the Forge booth?

Brennan, are you bringing any tables, or should we get the single long and single half table like we did last year?

I'll order the round tables and the big banner-holder stand thing via GeoFern; they aren't that pricey compared to the rug and chairs, which we don't need to get from them any more.

Greg, can you organize a buddy system via cell phones with someone who'll be at the booth setup? Primary sponsors besides me and Brennan (both of whom will be muy busy) include Ben Lehman, Clinton Nixon, James Brown, and Ralph Mazza.

Best, Ron

* But not private messaging here at the Forge, please.

Regarding the phone thing: Everyone that Ron mentioned, please email me privately at btrc at btrc dot net with your cell phone number, and once I have them all, I will send a group email to everyone so that everyone knows how to reach everyone else. Bonus points for including your approximate arrival time in Indy. Double bonus points if you have a Motorola phone that uses a SIM card, for reasons I will make apparent if you let me know that is the case with you.

By way of reminder, some interesting ideas were discussed in last years wrap-up/feedback thread.  Some of that might be useful for this discussion.  As an example, I mentioned at that time the idea of taking two of the default GenCon 8' tables and setting them end to end for the sales area.  If we picked up a few table-top display racks, we could display a lot of product at eye level, and still have enough room for the register at the end.  And of course there'd be plenty of room for stock storage underneath.

Examples wire racks:

I currently am in possession of the chairs, I will  be bringing them to Gen Con as planned.

Brennan (or Fred if you're currently in the loop) am I correct that IPR now has its own register and will not be needing mine as it years past?

No clue.  I've dropped Brennan an email urging him to look at this thread.

We've got our own register now, so we're covered on that front. Regarding tables, I am not bringing any, so we should stick with the ones provided at the booth. I've got shelving, including some tabletop wire racks, but I will need more than I've currently got, and I'll be picking those up before the con.

The chairs were sponsored by members of the Forge community for the Forge booth. So they're Forge booth property. The Ashcan Front won't need nearly as many chairs, and will be getting its own.

The ENnies isn't going to need its table, so let me know if you want to use it!
