This is the final peek at the Forge Menu (not the same as the passport -- that's still under development).

Basically this is going to manifest as two 8.5x11 sheets of paper, folded into digest sized booklets each, one with the pricelist on it, one with the demo menu on it. I'll probably do a different color of paper for the demo menu, letting the pricelist be white or something else...

The PDF here is set up for the back to back printing, so the "page" order is done with that in mind for each "booklet": 4-1/2-3.

To be clear, some of these prices could change prior to GenCon. But if they do, the publishers changing them on me had better bring some white-out and a willingness to alter 500 or so listings on the stuff I'll be printing out in July. I'm not waiting until the 11th hour to print this thing out, which is why this stuff needed to be set in stone -- for the purposes of my printing -- before July.

Hey Fred,

Out of curiosity, why are PDF prices listed?  Is there going to be some way to buy the files from the booth?
The Shab-al-Hiri Roach and Grey Ranks, available now at IPR!

That's all one publisher (BTRC).  He is bringing a laptop and a bunch of blank CDs so he can burn-on-demand -- he did this last year, apparently.

Fred, that looks insanely good. Thank you!

What does Market Price mean for Ben's games? (Just in case someone asks me and at the moment I haven't a clue.)

iago

Heh. It's a riff on the whole "Fresh fish... Market price!" you'll see on pre-printed menus.  Ben isn't committed to his prices for those products yet, so he asked me to take them off.  I figured this was a better flag for "Ben needs to fill this out" than simply leaving them blank.

Fred, I'll have Under the Bed available as well. Unbelievable but true.

Maybe demos that are represented by other booths can get another icon?
the glyphpress's games are Shock: Social Science Fiction and Under the Bed.

I design books like Dogs in the Vineyard and The Mountain Witch.

Hmm, that's an interesting thought.  Though as an artifact this thing's meant to be Forge-focused; I'd need to see if there's a way to do that without making it cluttered or devaluing the forge-booth demo icon...   Not to mention I have no idea where I'll be able to squeeze in a "legend" to go with the dessert menu part (it'll be a separate sheet from the demo menu, so I can't easily use the whitespace over on the demo menu portion), since it's pretty much chock-full.  Hm, hm, hm.

Hi, Fred. It looks great. One nitpicky layout issue: The margins and/or justification is off on the text box on page 1 (next to the lady with the steaming hot turkey platter). (It's also butting up pretty close to the Best Friends entry, but I know you're pressed for space as it is.)
Facing off against Captain Ahab, Dr. Fu Manchu, and Prof. Moriarty? Sure!

Passages - Victorian era, literary-based high adventure!

I'll see what I can do there, but that entire page has been a bit of a fiddly pain in the ass. :)

Just a really minor point but next to Justin's demos it says "Justin Jacobson and ..." and it should probably be "Justin Jacobson, ..." (comma rather than "and") just to bring it into line with the other multiple demo entries.

Anyway, I think it looks fantastic.
