Galactic Ashcan: corrections? questions? you be the judge

Hi:
As requested, I am providing feedback on the Ashcan Front copy of Galactic I purchased at GenCon. We'll be playing starting Sept 11, but here are some initial things from the rules text itself:
* Pg 7, 2nd column, "Fortune and Hazard" section, 6th line: This says something about the "map". I think this may be a carryover from earlier versions, since the "map" that was in the playtest rules I saw seems to be gone now.
* Pg 18, 1st column, very bottom: The White Wind's details seem to be a repeat of the Northern Span's details. Could you post the correct details, Matt?
* Pg 37, 1st column, "Quest Benefit" section, 2nd paragraph: This paragraph talks about a "Quest Benefit die", a d12. This is not mentioned, as far as I can see, anywhere else in the rules, including pg 51, where it references the Conflict rules. Is this a vestige of earlier versions, or is it still valid and just not mentioned in the Conflict section where it should be?
* Pg 49, 1st column, "Resolving a Quest" section, 2nd line: This line refers to a "plot aspect". I'm assuming this is meant to say "quest aspect"?
* Pg 52, 2nd column, "Step Two: Roll and Compare" section, 1st line: I think this should start with "Once" instead of "One"?
* Pg 53, 2nd column, example at top: Again, "plot aspect". Also, I think that the name "Mo" here should be "Stacie"?
* Pg 57, 2nd column, paragraph just below the dice illustration: This section implies that Emily losing the Doubt die for Vachel in the combat makes it "likely that Vachel will gain another level of strain." First, I assume this should be "trauma" instead of "strain", since Strain seems to go with connections and Trauma goes with crew. 2nd, in the rules on Doubt and Trust it says nothing about Doubt and Trust dice counting when you check to see if a crew member gains Trauma. Do they? It implies this again on Page 58, 1st column.
I'll be able to give you some actual play feedback after Sept 11, Matt. So far, I'm really liking what I see here.

Ah, one more thing. I was almost certain that somewhere in these rules, or in a post, or something, I saw a link for an online character sheet pdf for Galactic. Now, I can't find it anywhere. Am I just imagining this?

Doh! Just found the link buried in a paragraph on Page 6. Never mind.

And one more: on page 62 it twice mentions things called "Artifacts" or "Quest Artifacts". Another vestige of an earlier version?

Here's quick and dirty answers, as I'm in a rush...
1. yes, the map reference is an artifact.
Though you could totally draw a map anyway. Get a sheet of blank paper and draw Caliban on it. Then, when you create a world, draw where the new world is.
2. There aren't any actual details. It's most likely one I meant to finish and didn't
3. It ought to be in there somewhere, but say hello to my fine editing and lack of index. The d12 die is usable until it's impaired, so use it wisely.
4. You are correct.
5. I don't have the text with me, but probably.
6. Yes.
7. Yes and yes.

One more question: do doubt dice come under the 10 dice cap for the GM?

I've been thinking about making a pdf available, but I'm not quite sure how to deliver it. The bookshelf appears to be a closed system now. Maybe I can export a pdf small enough to email...

Is this the same version as the GenCon ashcan, or updated?

It is exactly the same. Except for being a pdf and stuff.
