Hi everyone,
I'm about 260 pages into the Player's Handbook for the frpg I am designing, The Third Kingdom.  It is a classless rpg driven by a point-based character creation.  The only dice used are d10s, and I have purposefully tried to keep both rolling and reference tables to a minimum.  For instance, there are no rolls for damage.  Damage inflicted by say, a sword blow, is modified by the attacker's skill aptitude, physical Attributes, the defender's armor, etc.  The spell system is point based (each spell costing a certain number of POW to cast) but is flexible, allowing casters to easily modify spells they know or even cast spells they don't.  At this point I'm looking for feedback and maybe some early stage playtesting.  I am also in need of both interior and cover art, the goal being all black and white.  Besides keeping the cost down I am trying to replicate the feel of old-school gaming with new-school mechanics.
The Third Kingdom can be found at http://games/groups/yahoo.com/group/thirdkingdom.  At the time of this writing the file is unedited and unfinished -- I will be updating it within the next week with another unedited but less unfinished copy.  The game is loosely based up C.S Friedman's Dark Sun Rising series but has been influenced by a number of different works of both fiction and role-playing.
Thanks,

Todd

Sorry,
Computers and the Internet are not my strong point.  If anyone is interested, how about I just e-mail you the attachment?  My e-mail is thirdkingdom@yahoo.com.  Thanks,
Todd
