Origins Game Fair is a convention in Columbus Ohio and its interest in Indie Games has been steadily growing.  Michael Miller and I will be returning to Origins this year and I would like to sponsor another Indie Games Explosion there.

If your going to be at Origins and plan on running an indie game, let me know and I'll add you to our sponsor group, and plut your game information on my IGE website.

Here is the site from last years Origins Indie Games Explosion event:  Origins 07

If you want to run a game with the Explosion you can either respond to this thread,
Post your information over at the Indie games Explosion Live journal
Or email me at indiegamesexplosion at gmail dot com

I have also posted this to Story Games

Heya,

I'd like to play/run a pickup of any indie games you got goin on! Looks like theres not too many on the menu so far... where will everyone meet up?

I know this is an old thread... but, with Origins fast approaching, I'd like to see if there's going to be any other indie representation there. I'm pretty much open to new and old, playtesting, homebrews... whathave you. I've been excited about DitV recently, reading firefly mods, so that would be grand!

Hi Anansi,
Last year it seemed like most of the small-press RPGs were in a couple of rooms down on the main floor--I forget the numbers.  But in any case I'm sure you'll run into indie games and players all over the place.  I'll be there running Spirit of the Century and Agon.  My brother Bill will be running SOTC as well, Ganakagok, and playtesting something new he is working on--the Perilous Realm.  I'm sure you've seen the schedule with 'With Great Power', WEGS, Shock, Nine Worlds, and others.  Bring DITV and I'll bet you can round up a few players!
See you there!

Fierce!

My husband and I were disappointed that Monsters and other Childish Things and Burning Wheel filled up so quickly! We were super excited to play those two. Although, we did sign up for Wild Talents, which I suppose isn't indie per se, but its got the ORE which seems awesome. Lots of neat games being featured this year.

I'm sure we'll run into you guys there. You're local to Columbus? We just moved here a little while ago. Hope to hit up the indie game awesomeness.

Virginia, actually, so not too local!  And keep in mind Dexcon next month in NJ if you didn't get into the indie games you wanted at Origins.
