[SGS ] A Role playing game turn into a Card Game

As part of the extended rules on my new game system there is a plan to create a Card game that can be played by using the characters from your RPG campaign.
The first draft of the rules is as follows, anyone related to RPG will get the idea easily without going to deep in the actual RPG rules:
1. All talents (skills/feats), npcs, equipments, spells, terrains, will be considered a card. All cards will have a magick cost.
2. You PC from the RPG is a card and it will represent you in the card game
The card game is played by two or more players using basic combat rules and some small modifications to RPG rules.
1. Players card will have 100 Vital Points and 100 Magick Points, regardless of how much their character has in the RPG.
2. Active player will rotate clockwise not by initiative
3. There will be no movement rules since the cards position has no influence in the card game
4. Players will be able to add one card to the "field" per turn as long as you paid its magick cost (MP)
5. Players will have one attack stage per turn, regardless of how many actor (creature) cards are able to attack (they all attack at once)
Winning
1. You win the game if your opponent card has 0 VP.
2. You win the game if your opponent runs out of cards to play.
3. You win the game if your opponent quits.
Game zones:
Hand: you start with 5 cards on hand. You can have any number of cards in your hand.
Deck: your deck will have a maximum of 40 cards; you can draw one per turn
Field: the place where all the card in the game resides. Your card will start the game on the field.
void: the place where all cards go after being used or destroyed in the field, or discarded from the hand or deck
The game play will have several variants, but its basic form will be something similar to some popular card games:
Player 1.
plays a sword
equips (free) the sword to his card
attacks (player card base attack plus sword bonus)
pass turn
player 2.
summons a giant bear
attacks with both cards
pass turn
Even so, there could be also a variant with a Quest card and the players should fulfill the quest to win. However I still will need to work a bit more on that.

For the people that want to take a look on the current rules (RPG) and how the card and board variations evolve you can take a look here:
