[DRYH] Delta Green (long)
«

hey there
I'm thinking of using DRYH to run Delta Green
I've come up with some ideas, and I'd like some feedback
here's what I got:
My name is...
becomes
My code-name is...
OK, that one was easy
code-names should start with the same letter, since characters are part of the same cell
And I am...
stays
And I am...
you just add which agency the character belongs to
this is where ideas for NPCs, missions, etc. will come from
but since characters are part of the same cell, they should fit their answers to this together
nothing to add here
this gives you character motivations to challenge, and something to shoot for at the end of the adventure
Discipline and Madness
stay
Discipline and Madness
these seem to fit pretty well
Exhaustion
becomes
Stress
when the situation becomes stressful (through injury, discovery or whatever), the agent's training kicks in, and he becomes more effective
Exhaustion Talent
becomes
Special Training
something the agent does better than others
Madness Talent
becomes
Dark Power
some spell the agent learned from an ancient tome, or some taint he got from a creature, or whatever
the agent may not be aware of his power
Pain
really weird horrors should have a high Pain rating
that way players will have to use Madness to overcome them
unless they're high on Stress, which has its own dangers
Comments
I think that this is more group-oriented than straight DRYH, so players will have to create links during char-gen
so there you have it
what do you think?
how could I improve this?

I want to chew on this one for a bit.
There's a Yahoo! Group that started up recently to discuss Don't Rest Your Head -- you might get some traction over there with this idea:
