A quick rules question

My combat monster character has Ag7 Wit5  This gives him a base combat pool of six.

Does this mean I have effectivly no defualts? According to the manual max default is six.

My base pool is six

Therefore a default is no use to me.

If thats the case

 Why?

Not a default pool, I believe, but a default proficiency.  Pool = proficiency + reflex.

You add 6 to your defaults to get your combat pool.

Hence your high defaults will be 12... not bad :)

Right--it's the Proficiency, not the pool, that max-defaults out at 6.
