I've got a hankerin' to add to the webpage, so I'm looking for ideas and directions, as well as stuff you all want to submit. I'll put just about anything up there in the "community" section.

Also, as a reminder, I'm still taking Of Beasts and Men Submissions for the rest of this week and maybe the beginning of next, so chop-chop!

Because I am a cool motherfucka, I will be uploading all the NPC's and such from my recent TROS campaign on one page for you to link to. URL is coming soon.

If you have a cool TROS logo that's around 225 tall wide x 200 pixels tall, let me know.

I'm sorry Clinton but this is an entirely unacceptable mixture of languages.  Please attempt to use either the English "-er" or the Ebonics "-a" consistantly in all future cursing.

Exactly the sentance should read "I is a coo mother fucka- yo." thats a much better Ebonics cognate.

Speaking of cool mothafuckas, I have put up my page of RoS resources. If you want to link to this, Jake, cool by me. (Also, if you have a copy of the sword + "Riddle of Steel" logo, I'd love to use it for the page.)

I have that one (I stripped it out of the riddleofsteel homepage image for use in the combat sim as the title bit at the top). I can send you that if you like. What's your email address?

[edit] By the way, I quite like the images of NPC's on your resource page. What program did you use to make those?[/edit]

Brian,

E-mail address is crnixon@anvilwerks.com.

I used HeroMachine to make the character images. Note that I ponied up the $5-10 (I can't remember) to get in on the HeroMachine 2.0 beta - it's got a lot more stuff you can do, plus the entire range of colors. (HeroMachine 1.0 is really cool - the color palette's just pretty limited.)

OK, I have sent that image. And I'll check out heromachine. Thanks.

Hey Jake! Welcome back from Origins! Here's an idea for the site. I don't know how hard it would be, but you could put up a place for people who play TROS to list themselves. A "database" of TROS players. That way people who want to get into the game, or find others to play with, can add themselves to this list and find a game.

Heck, if you really wanted to take it to the next level (at the risk of being cheezy), you could start up a "Riddle-Seeker" fan club! :-D

Also, something that I think we've mentioned before here, it would be nice if there was a TROS FAQ. Surely you can find some sucker.... erm.. volunteer who could throw together a basic FAQ based on those questions that have been asked here in the forum.

What's that Brandon? You're volunterring to write a FAQ? Well, I always knew you were a mensch. When can we expect it?

Jake, how about notes on places in Wyerth? They could be presented in travellogue format. Hook people into the setting, and give people ideas for interesting things to have characters run into in the course of play.

The FAQ expansion and the Travellogue are great ideas. So, Lance, how about that FAQ? You up to it?

As for the travellogue, I'd love to get that from somewhere other than me. Things are so much more interesting when you get new perspectives on ideas like places and people...take the threads on Stahl, Gelure, and Uglub we had a ways back. Fascinating.
