Previously I've done my cover art layout in Photoshop but for my latest game I've been doing it in Illustrator. All I can say is wow!
I've always been slow in moving into new technology but I'm glad I did this. The print quality is really good and it is easy for me to do the layout. The art consists of photographs of the my artist's original paintings. In the past I've used a lot of photographs. I can't wait to see how photos do when turned into vector graphics.

I just got the CS4 Adobe Illustrator earlier this summer and it is awesome. It has so many new fetchers and upgrades than the last edition. There are also so many useful online tutorials to get you started. And working up book covers and formatting script is very easy. If you have any questions about illustrator CS4 I might be able to help you
