The simple TROS rules

I read somewhere that you can opt for basic, simple rules in TROS instead of the full fledged combat system. Can't remember where, exactly, and I don't have my book with me at the moment to look into it. Am I making this up or did I actually read it? If it's there, what are the basic rules and how do they work?

It's not stated specifically, Shane. It says that if you don't like the maneuvers, don't use them... that kind of thing. If there are rules you don't like, just ditch them, and see if it works!
