It's the oddest thing.

Think it might of happened when I went to read personal e-mail, though I didn't notice it at the time, when I returned to the forums I wasn't logged in.  Now whenever I log out, my is still listed as being online.

I log in, log out again, still there.

Anyone have any advice, suggestings, asprin?

Thanks much.

Clearing your cookies would probably help...

That's why I tried logging back in.  Heck I even deleted my browswer cookies.  (I had my browswer settings set so that cookies and just about everything else were off at the time anyhow.)  Left the site.  Came back.  Still it said I was here.

Doesn't (or rather didn't) now though.  Guess the problem resolved itself.

Very strange.

Thanks for the advice.

Looks like I spoke too soon above.

It's doing it again.  I log out.  (Even disconnect from the Inet, go away for a while, and come back in a few to check and it says I am online.)  Must be doing something wrong...

So, how do I force the board to clear cookies on its own?

sigh.

I assume you had it because you checked the box to have the place log you on automatically. Clearing the cookies would help you. But if you don't clear that checkbox next time, then you'll get another cookie and the game starts again
