Images for archetypal card deck

I would like to know if anyone here can recommend a good collection of images (photos or artwork) on the Internet for use in representing archetypes.  By this I mean objects or images that are objectively simple, but have emotional and cultural connotations with them, that could represent greater concepts, like the major arcana in a Tarot deck - for example, The Key, The Scales, The Tree, etc.  I want to create a deck of cards similar to the Archetypes Storytelling cards by Lon Koenig games (for my own personal use only), but I don't like many of their archetype concepts.   I have used Google to search for images, but I was looking for a single repository of such images or photos.

Try Elfwood [the fantasy section] and ask some of the artists there to hire or for permission to use their art for published credit, etc.

Elfwood is a wonderful source for artists eager for some publishing experience.
