Jack wrote this in another thread recently:

Are "many uninteresting features" a symptom of a game or session or rules systems that has problems?

Hi, Andrew

I think this would depend on who you talk to as-to where the fault lies as far as the uninteresting features. Since this is theory and not actual play, I would suggest that it lies in the rules where the rules require certain things to take place that are not much fun, so to speak. I am willing to be that a few of these are holdovers in design concepts from previous games, as has been dicussed at length before, if memory serves. It seems to be a recurring theme.
