Okay, Universalis sounds more cool than English contains words to readily express.  Like, whole barrels of fun.  So, I ordered it (yay me!  yay second printings!)

Question, thus- are there any shipping type alerts that are sent out?  And what's the normal turn around time?

Now, if yo'll excuse me, I'll go back to pacing in the corner.  *pacepacepace*

Answer:  Yes there are.  I notify everyone by email the day I ship their copy.  Everyone that is except you.  You I forgot. :-)
(literally, I sent out three notices yesterday...somehow I missed you)

Your copy went out yesterday (that I'm sure of).

I generally try to ship Mondays and Thursdays.  First Class mail has been surprisingly fast in most cases so you shouldn't have to pace too long.

Be ye of good cheer. Ralph ships once a week (on tuesdays, I think) and shipping is fast. I'd say 5 - 7 business days inside the US.

I got my copy pretty darn quick. An important trait to have in any business--punctual service.

And it's a great little volume for a terrific game. My pal Dave Hedgecock did a super-duper job on the artwork.

Unfortunately I still have NO IDEA when I'll actually get to play this game. *sigh*

Yeah, I was extremely pleased with what David came up with.  The art that accompanies the example is just perfect and the robotic ones have inspired my next gaming project...which reminds me, I need to get in touch with him on that again.

Good service is good business.  I can count at least 12 sales (that I know of) that came from referral from someone who'd already bought the game, for which I'm very grateful.  That makes me happy

Morale of the story:  Make Ralph happy, tell your friends to buy my game

Universalis is mine!  As of yesterday.

That is all.

*goes to print a quick ref sheet so as to be ready to start a game on Friday*

Excellent.  Be sure to let us know how it went.  We need to get some good game based discussions going.

Plus, if you've perused the web site and seen some of the examples of folks games and want to see your game up there write it up and send it to me.
