Do wounds affect rolls like reflex tests? We were playing last night and only found evidence that wounds affect combat pools. Seems sensible that a character would be less quick on his/her feet after being shot through the stomach with a crossbow.

Without looking at the book, my intial thought is that if you're being shot at with crossbow bolts that means your in combat, which means all rolls that you make come out of your CP. Just like with terrain, out of combat you can use AG, but in combat you have to use CP dice.
Anyone out there that knows better, feel free to smack me down for opening my mouth b4 I read up.

As I understand it, Pain and Shock get applied to anything and everything you might be wanting to do. I'd rule that you'd get at least 1 die to roll unless its something truly outrageous, then I might suggest a will roll or something to get that die.

I don't apply PAin after combat. Instead I apply die penalties to actions, like 1, 2, 3 dice based on severity, or even preventing certain actions based on the injury severity.

I've never liked global die minuses based on wounds. I've suffered broken extremities and the like, and the only thing that they affected were things that they "obviously affect," like movement if it's my foot or manual dexterity if it's my finger. In Combat it all adds up (hence the CP mods). Outside of combat I only apply Pain modifiers (usually halved) in situations where I feel it's neccessary, which is rare. Mostly I let common sense and circumstance be my guide.
