I am currently experiencing a weird bug. I'm not sure how to describe it, so I'll have to do a play by play.

I come to the site, and see no new posts excet one in Actual Play from yesterday. I go there, read, return to main page and suddenly there are new posts in many forums. How odd, I thought, but not impossible if these posts were made while I was in Actual play. So I go to one of these forums and there are no new posts. I click Refresh and there they are.

If you have any question I will answer them if I can.

Is your browser set to check pages every single time, rather than caching them?

Hi Fred.

I thought that might be the problem. I had somehow screwed up how files download a couple days ago and went nuts trying to solve it, messing with things I probably should not have. But I had restored the defaults in the Internet options and it's set to check for new version of stored pages automatically, which I assume is the caching setting, right? And the problem outlined above continues.

That sounds like the caching setting, and that sounds like IE.  Presently, I'm using Mozilla, and have it set up to "Compare the page in the cache to the page on the network - Every time I view the page".  This may be what IE means by the above language, it may not.  You may want to consider trying Mozilla on for size (http://www.mozilla.org/) just to see if it's definitely a browser-based problem.
