CAH Online Release Party
«
on:
March 27, 2003, 03:13:22 AM »
On Monday, March 31, we are having an online party to celebrate the release of the Cartoon Action Hour hardcopy.
The chat-party will begin at 8:00pm Eastern/7:00pm Central and will end, well, whenever it ends. We will have contests, answer questions and just have a good time chatting with CAH fans.
As for where we're having the party, you can get there by Web IRC at
http://irc.dumpshock.com/webirc/
or you can log in manually through IRC:
Server: irc.dumpshock.com
Port: 6667
I want to send out a special thanks to Bull for allowing us to use his chat channel. =0)
We hope to see everyone there.

Someone asked me what channel we're going to be in? Will it be #lobby, or something just for the release party?

CAH Online Release Party

I want to thank all the CAH fans who attended the online release party for making it such a huge success. It was a blast! Heck, it lasted for 3+ hours, so that should be some indication as to how busy things got.
We held three contests. Two trivia questions with the winners scoring a free issue of After These Messages, followed by a grand prize contest. For the latter, we had everyone in the chatroom come up with their own impromptu series ideas. Boy oh boy were there some doozies! All of the ideas were fantastic, but there could be only one. The winner receives an autographed copy of CAH and the series idea being fleshed out for a future issue of ATM.
Trivia Winners: Brian Bergdall and Tim Kirk
Series Contest Winner: Norbert Franz
We also had a brief visit from Kargorr himself, who took it upon himself to annoy the heck out of everyone with his pompous attitude.
In the end, the party was a success. So much so that we've decided to do a CAH chat once per week on Sunday nights (8:00pm Eastern/7:00pm Central). We hope to see you all there!

The Online Release Party was a grand old time! So much so that I want a channel for my own company.
How do I get one?
Seriously, I had a great time even if I did stress out looking for my copy of CAH. I just ordered another copy, although it may take a while to get to me (I had to send an e-check).
