The last word on the .pdf was early May, wasn't it? Is that still in effect?

I hope you'll keep them company with three copies of OBAM, Lance... :-)

Brian (who would have three copies of the mainbook if one of them hadn't been stolen).

That's still the plan.

While we are on the subject of the OBAM release, what about the character creator from Brian?  I was hoping to use it for helping me create my convention adventures!

I got it last night, and it will be available shortly. The problem is that I don't really want to make it generally "free," but rather put it on some kind of "members page." Then again maybe I'm just paranoid. Expect it very soon, probably today.

I don't think you're being paranoid, Jake. You're showing proper concern for the health of your business.

Brian is putting a pasword screen on the game the first time it loads, taking the password from the book. That way it's public, but also keeps it from being used by non-owners. Cool.

Yep.. it picks a random number from 1000-2000 and you have to count that many words into the book, then load up the MS Word Thesarus and find the 2nd synonym for that word, then reverse the letters in the synonym and convert to acsii values.

Simply add those values together and enter that number and you're in. It's easy.

I'll have it done tomorrow.

Brian.

Easy??

I dunno about you, but I damn sure don't consider it easy to count 1000+ words.. Likewise, not everyone has MS Word. I happen to know where I can find ascii code online as well, but...

I DO so hope you're kidding.

You are kidding, right?

...please?

Even if you are kidding, Brian, I am still forever grateful.  You are the best TROS character generator program ever!

I personally am the best character generator program? What, do they come out of my bottom or something :-)

And guys, really, what do you take me for? 1000-2000 words? I gave you more credit than to fall for that ;-)

No, it'll be the old staple "word 3 on page 24" kind of thing. I'll probably have it randomly ask you again every 10 times or so that you use the program too, so someone can't just unlock it and then re-release it unlocked to others.

Brian.
