Hello,

The books are printed, shipped, and actually present at the Tundra warehouse!

Which means that as soon as they're off to the distributors, the on-line sales begin. The theory is that we open the internet sales at the same time that the retailers can legitimately get the books.

Best,
Ron

Whoohoo!  This is great news Ron.  As soon as I get the cash together I'll be ordering this and Sorecerer's Soul, which I will clearly need given how much Sorcerer whet my appetite for more info on using Humanity.

Cheers,

Eric

Hiya,

Here's my plan. The direct buy-button appears on Tuesday, May 27, following Memorial Day weekend.

Fulfilment (putting the books into the mail) begins a week from Monday, which will be June 2.

Hi Ralph,

Don't know. The printer sent me some copies early this week, but who knows whether they'll be in the mailbox by the end of today. If so, then yeah, you'll see'em.

What colour is the cover?  I'm hoping for green.

Yes, probably not the deepest of questions but its been bugging me ever since Sex And Sorcery was first mentioned.

Hi everyone,

The Buy Button is active.

Head over to the Sorcerer Product Page if that seems all right to you.

Don't forget!

1. You're welcome to buy from your local retailer instead of using the direct sale.

2. The books will not leave the warehouse until Monday, June 3.

Ron

Hi there,

So, I'm holding my actual personal copy of Sex & Sorcery in my hands about right now.

Prettttty ...

In terms of the text's content, though, as usual, I have no particular "feeling" when I do this. The words are still too close to my brain, so they just look familiar and old hat even though they're all bound and spiffy looking. I get so sick of a set of prose as it goes through the final-edits and layout stages that it's not very exciting to see the product.

If the other books provide a valid precedent, though, in a few months or a year, I'll pick this one up and read it, and say, "Hey, this isn't bad."

Ron

Man, I get heller excited when it comes time to publish something. I get giddy about it, even if it's something tiny like a mini-comic.

But I totally agree with you about being "too close" to the product to get excited about actually reading it... again. If it's any consolation I often pick up Sorcerer, Sorcerer's Soul, Sorcerer and Sword, and Trollbabe and say "Man, this is good stuff!"

(yeah, I printed a hardcopy of TB, so I can honestly say "pick it up" and mean it. heh.)

Now to order the new book...

I would say the best knock-off (and probably completely infringing) ad would go something like this: "Little. Yellow. Different." With a big-ass picture of the yellow cover of "Sex & Sorcery."
