PALADIN Setting...Anyone interested?

In the near future scientists uncovered 'True Alchemy', a form of power that is used in conjunction with atoms and such, to create Life, and everything else that can't be explained. People were told all kinds of theories how Life originated, and stopped believiing in their main religions. They started trying to master this power, and eventually some exceeded. They could rearrange atoms to transform something into something else, as long as it used the same amount of atoms, and the same type. The human world was devastated, everyone stopped believing in God, and only Alchemy was seen as a religion. Mano, the True Creator of all, including Alchemy was outraged by what happened to humanity, playing God with his own powers!
He called upon eight great Alchemists, telling them he created all, and they had to destroy any other Alchemist that does as he will with Alchemy. Seven of them followed, the last one laughed at the Creator's face, saying that he will rise above him and be God himself.
That person turned into a hideous creature, composed entirely of Alchemy, having taken control of almost all Alchemy in the entire universe. Mano has now assembled a whole army of former Alchemists, blessing them with the power of Manoism, the ability to increase the body's limits to a maximum, giving extrordinary strength.
What about this setting? Like it? Should there be changes? Some Japanese cartoon inspired me to do this, and I turned it into a form to have bad guys and good guys. ;)

So it's the good guy alchemists against their former brethren who've turned into monsters? Cool.
How about doing up the order's code?
