Forgot to mention, this is main book's combat example in the combat section.

In the opening encounter Geralt performs a duck and weave succesfully, which the Seneschal sais takes away 3 CP from Stefan.  How come Stefan is then able to evade using 4 dice.. when he initially spent 5 dice on his attack, out of a Combat Pool of 9 dice, down from 13 because of his armor.  I don't see where the 3 CP penalty took place anywhere in the entire example.

Nobody can clear this up?  This makes the system really confusing to me unless somebody knows what is going on...
