Hey all. I'm off to Gen Con, so I won't be able to participate here until monday. Have fun, play nice. Brian's in charge.

Wish me luck on the Diana Jones!

Good luck Jake, and I hope to stop into the booth Saturday morning to say hi.

Bastards. You're all bastards for being able to go to GenCon and I can't.

Sigh.

:-)

On the other hand, next year I will be at GenCon. All arranged already. See y'all there.

Well, I'm assuming so at this point. Wont know for sure until they announce it a little later this year though. Wherever in the States it is, I'm going (and three mates from kiwiland also).

Damn pity I couldn't be there this year, what with OBAM being there and all, but thems the breaks...

Next year is when I intend to make the obligatory pilgrimage to Gamer's Mecca. Hopefully I'll get to see you there, Brian.

Count me in too fellas; since it will be in my home town again next year;-).

By the way, I heard that next years Gencon here in Indy is scheduled for the same weekend as the Brickyard 400 (a huge Nascar event), so you'll want to get your reservations in early...maybe really early!

We just need to figure out how to stop the Brickyard.

I'm back. I read most of the threads, but not all of them, give me time to catch up.

And guys...chill the hell out. Everyone is offended about something right now. Parts of Taveruun, no rules for elephant's stepping on people, fat people can be ninjas, too, whatever. It's a frickin' game. Chill.

Eh, don't sweat it, Jake.  For the most part, I've been ignoring the rants.  If that's all people can dream up to complain about, then their lives, as well as your game, must donig well.

...And brian and Lance, just give a little warning so I can think of a really good story to give my wife.  Maybe I can talk her into taking the kids to her Mom's for those four days.  We just can't trash the place.

Hey Tony, watch what you say man... for all you know we're American Gothic level psychos and we'll take you up on your meant-jokingly offer... :-)

(edit: ... and then kill you in your bed because you gave Lance a capital letter for his name but not me. We psycho's are funny that way...)

Man do I feel embarrassed; sorry about that Brian.  I'm so self-conscience about my writing that I normally check everything that I write at least once, but some how that must have got by me.

As for staying at my house, I've got roughly a snowballs chance in hell of talking my wife into taking our three kids on vacation without me so I can party and play roleplaying games with a bunch of guys I hardly know.  I would really like to get in on a session of TRoS with you and Lance though.  Maybe we could get Mike Holms and Jake to join us (hell, for that matter we may as well invite Ron Edwards and Luke Crane :-) ).

In fact, bugger GenCon. I would come over just to have Jake run a honking big TROS game for us, then Ron can run a Sorcerer game, we can play Universalis (with Mike and Ralph..err.. not running it because there's no GM but you get the idea), and so on.

Oh alright, AND we'll go to GenCon :-)
