I was going to wait to send this tomorrow/this morning, but I woke up at about 2:00 am and figured I'd fire it off before I head back to bed.  Onward...

First, I want to apologize for being gone for the past couple of weeks.  Our PC was down and then we moved to a new town, so it's been chaotic.

Now, let's talk about the recent batch of CAH reviews.  After hearing that CAH was reviewed in Scrye magazine, I ran out and purchased a copy immediately.  Overall, a very good review (3 out of 5 stars, with some categories scoring 4 out of 5 stars).  Truthfully, though, I don't think the reviewer understood what we were going for visually with he book.  The artwork was meant to convey the sort of animation present in the cartoons of old which is much different than the standard art in most RPGs.  Still, it was a positive review.  Then, of course, there's the Envoyer review.  Despite the slight negativity present in said review, it was still a solid one.  The reviewer seemed to think that we were trying to create CAH as a purely humorous game, which isn't the case.  Cheesy, yes.  And funny in places.  But it's more about the over the top action than humor.  Ah well, ya can't please everyone all the time.

Also, this business of our old URL leading to a rather twisted porn site concerns us greatly.  This WILL be fixed, one way or another.

And now for the nugget of news. The latest issue of the RPGnow.com e-magazine features an all-new CAH series written by Eddy and yours truly.  It's a pirate-based series called "Swashbucklers of Korjageer" and I'm telling ya... it was a blast to write, even though I spent hours trying to come up with a cool name for it.  Fortunately, the gang over at RPG.net Tangency came to my aid.  =0)

I'll get back on and catch up on my emails and posts once I get a bit more sleep.  For now, my bed beckons and like the mindless slave that I am, I must obey.  'Night, gang!
