I'm putting together a TROS adventure for GenCon So Cal and want to know how many from the list will be attending, in case I might ru it more than once. (I know WOLFEN will be there...)

I'm planning on being there and would be interested in hooking up with you at the con.

GenCon So Cal?!

I can't make it this year, but when and where is it held normally? Cause I'm planning on moving to Santa Monica in the next year.

well, it's a bit early to call anything "normally" (it's the first year EVER).  but I think they have a contract with anaheim, CA, for at least the next few years.  it's in anaheim this year, at least, for sure.

Yep, Anaheim it is. *Finally* a con that's semi near where I live! Aside from the ComicCon, but wow, that was busy this year.

Keep the head count coming! I'm looking forward to a few more TROS'ers down here. I've got a few friends who are trying the game this weekend and hopefully I'll be able to drag 'em with me.

That's about right from my driving experiences, though I'm in North County of Sandy Eggo. Is there a web page someone can direct us to for more info? Or was one linked and I missed it? <grin>

Here is the official website (I think):

http://gencon.com/display.aspx?file=socal

Here's some of the necessary info:

December 11-14, 2003
 Anaheim Convention Center
 800 West Katella Avenue
 Anaheim, California  92802

The website will get you into the door, so to speak, with registration and all. Hope it helps. We gotta make this big so they'll come around next year! And, of course, we gotta run some ROS games, too. That's a must.

;)

it is roughly an hour an a half (depending on traffic) from San Diego to Anaheim.  I make the trip often to visite relatives in San Diego.  The convention center is right across the street from DisneyLand.  I would love to go but have relatives in town that weekend.

Anyone wanting to run adventures should hit the GenCon site and download the application now.  The deadline  to submit an event is coming up fast (Sept 12, I think).  I'm probably going to run just one session -- don't know that my voice can hold out for 2.

Living just four miles from Anaheim I can't resist. Count me in. I'm looking foward to playing TROS at a con and maybe recruiting some players for our group.
