A lite version of my game, Kathanaksaya, has been published in the most recent issue of Random Order Comics and Games.  After a long hiatus, I'm ready to do more with it.  My goal would be to have a print version of the game available for play.  However, I am in need of two things: editors and artists.

As far as editing is concerned, I only need someone to help me proofread and make my writing a bit tighter.  I have tried doing everything myself, but there is always something I miss.  Assistance in preventing the frustrations that come from this is highly appreciated.

Artists are a bit trickier.  If you read the game, it's obvious that it can emulate a variety of genres.  Therefore, picking one style of art to include is difficult.  At the very least, it would be nice to have a few pictures that illustrate the examples as well as some character portraits.  If there is a preference I have, it would be just about anything that veers from manga cliches (like big eyes, small mouths, teeny noses, and unnatural hair colors).  The same goes for superheroic comic book style things.  It's not that I dislike these styles, but there are already games on the market now that use this and focus on the stylistic elements of these artistic "genres."  The very last thing I want to do is present Kathanksaya as "more of the same."  Lately I've been particularly intrigued and interested in creative photography and digital art (particularly photo manipulation).  Basically, I am looking for art that captures the uniqueness of this game.

If you are interested, please respond to this post or send me a PM.  I would highly appreciate it if you included a link to some samples of your work.  Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Green,

Politically Incorrect Games has just started a design services division that includes everything you're looking for here. We do editing, logo design, layout, web design, and illustration. Our prices are very competitive, and if you need a quote, feel free to contact me at:

drake-studios@abac.com

Our goal with the design services division is to provide reasonably priced design that will help designers produce professional products without breaking the bank. Between the three of us (myself, Brett Bernstein and Chris Martinez), we have extensive experience with all manner of design, editing, and art.

I looked at your site, and it seems pretty interesting.  What kind of pricing are we talking about here?

Our prices are flexible, depending on what you need. The artist's fees are on the site, but a rough breakdown is as follows:

Line Art goes from $5 for a single head shot to $60 for a full page
Grayscale goes from $10 to $100
Color ranges from $40 to $140
Covers are negotiated based on the brief.

As far as editing, we would need a fair amount of information to give you an accurate quote. We would need to know the number of pages, the amount of editing you need, and we would want a sample of the writing to determine just how much work we would need to do. A rough ballpark, however, based on what I've seen here, would be about $1 - $2 a page. If our editor is just looking for grammatical or spelling errors, this might even be less.
