So any luck with simplified rules for buying initiative?
To me it seems to ruin the fast combat so I'd like any alternative ways to handle the situation and comments on those alternatives.

Split from this thread, as it was pretty old.

Okay got it.

I personally find the rules for stealing initiative a bit too complicated and this leads to people not trying to do it. (Yeah it shouldn't be easy thats for sure.)
Have any of you guys come up with variations for stealing initiative? Preferably with minimal die rolling. Brian I remember reading that you are making something new for TFOB for stealing initiative?

They *are* a bit complex, couldn't agree with you more.

I'm not sure where you read that Jake and I were redoing them for TFOB, but it's not a bad idea, I'll have a think about that :-)
