TROS demo in Austin, Texas

In little over a month I'll be running a demo for one of my LGS. I'd like to hear from other people who've ran demos before as this will be my first ever demo game.
I've read about the caravan guards senario and the dueling bridge senario as ways to introduce comabt rules as well as get the players into the game, but what other setups have people used?
Additionally I'd like to use miniatures with my demo. Over the years I've accumulated over 300 minis and painted about 1/3 of them and it's about time I used them. Does anyone else out there use miniatures in their TROS games? If so let me know how it's working for you.
I'm very excited about this because hopefully it help me find some players who will want to play Riddle of Steel. By the way if anyone on the boards is in the area they are more than welcome to show up and play.

Out of curiosity, when and where? Houstopolis isn't that far.

It looks like October 25th at Dragon's Lair on Burnet Rd. I was going to do it on the first weekend in OCtober but for some reason I'm going to be in Atlanta, Georgia then.

Hey, I might be up for participating. Like Theron said, Houston is not THAT far away. Any other Houstonians on the board? (Interested in playing, that is?) I'm over at U of H.
Just keep me posted.

The more people there the better! Ideally I'd like to draw a big crowd. I'm planning on mainly running duels between whoever shows up. If you do decide to come feel free to bring a character made with the standard rules, no insight points though please.
