I am really interested in going to GenCon In Anaheim California. All the info is at the website:
http://www.gencon.com/socalhome.aspx?file=socal
it runs from December 11th throught the 14th. I am wondering if there are any fellow Forgers out there that are going to this con. I am thinking about running a few games (just to say I ran some games at GenCon) but if there is anyone who needs help with whatever I would be perfectly happy to help out just e-mail me at:
zeotter@yahoo.com
Also anyone looking to save $$$ on hotel costs I am willing to speak about sharing rooms, again drop me an e-mail.

ZeOtter, I am seriously considering attending as an exhibitor at SoCal GenCon. Sharing costs, etc. for a hotel room would be acceptable.
Here is what I would like to do:
1. To share costs for one or two booths side-by-side (depending on how many games/publishers/authors we have exhibiting.
2. Make our community effort a FORGE affair --meaning that we all make an effort to sell on behalf what the
player/customer
wants as members of the Forge community.
3. In line with #2 that each exhibitor have a cheat sheet, or familiarity with the main points of each other's games so we can at least talk about the game, sell it, or easily direct customers to the Forge author whose game fits the customer's interests.
4. If possible we run short 15-20 minute demos in our booth(s).
If there is anything I've missed, please let me know.

I am sorry I haven't checked this post in some time since I was not getting any replies. I would love to talk to you about this, I don't not have any need for booth space but am more than willing to help out with whatever you need help with (demo's, setting up, etc...) I have no plans to mooch, I am looking for people to share hotel costs and see if we can get a Forge contingent there.
my email is:
zeotter@yahoo.com
I live way up in the Inland Empire (Yucaipa) but I am willing to meet with you if you need to...
Drop me an e-mail and we can swap phone numbers and work out details.
