I return to The Forge after thinking it had died, and suddenly I find this whole forum thing going on.

Very good. I like it.

It's an alternative to GO as well - all things considered.

Hey Ian,

Welcome! Good to see you.

I'm pretty proud of the Sorcerer forum on GO over the last year, but the site as a whole worries me. I've been through ALL THREE crashes, and the last one was especially aggravating. I've found that the GO staff, since Clinton and Ed left, have priorities that I can't commit to - and so why should my intellectual effort serve those priorities?

Yet GO continues to be an important funnel for people to meet in, and it would be foolish to abandon it. So I'm keeping the Sorcerer forum there, and continuing my efforts there to a slightly-lessened extent.
