Sorry for the absence; internet connection is down and I'm having to use someone else's.

Thanks for the info; Ingenious, I'll look for that NG you were talking about. That sounds right up my alley as to what I'm looking for for the game. Contracycle, the info re: weapons and armor of the age helps a lot. All the more reason I think I'll have to not put the two groups in the same timeline. Mechavomit's info is useful, too. I'm gonna have to dig this stuff up and post what I find.

Brian, I picked up that Ars Magica stuff when they were discussing it (I think a post of mine is on there as well). It seems from reading it that, ported, it will work well within TROS, though I've yet to try it out. It's good for my campaign, too, because I'm looking for magic that will fit the historical setting (I think I just posted a major oxymoron). ;) Gotta give props to the original magic, though; it rocks the world.

See you on the flip side

I'm in the middle of rejuvenating my Katanapunk! work.  While this setting doesn't deal with a strictly historical Japan, much of the information I'm using as source/flavour/background is accurate historically.  The game focuses on flavour and attitude more than anything though.  Keep an eye out at my website
