I'm looking for someone who can, if provided with webspace (also working on that), help me to set up a PhpBB forum akin to the one Clinton has managed here at the Forge, on a smaller scale.

This is to replace an inactive webguru who promised but has not delivered same, on my current project.  I'd use Forge space but it's not an indie game - it has a chance (if we can get more steam underway) to see mainstream press.  However, due to the inactive member of the team, we basically have zero discussion; the existing Yahoo group simply does not facilitate the way I'd like, and I want to take ownership of the underpinnings of discussion.

My fiancee is also looking for something very similar to revamp the forums for her Mage: The Ascension LARP, so we'll want to clone the setup with a different logo and community.  (If it's two frontends on the same backend, I'm fine with that as long as the frontends are made very distinct; I play the LARP as do some of my testers, and I'd rather not have confusion of states.)

The forum does not need to implement the host of very nice features Clinton has arranged for here, and/or is welcome to grow over time.  The basic engine would be a big improvement, no matter what.

I can offer bennies in several forms, including cash if we can't come up with anything more interesting. :)  The target final form does mean that assistance here should mean some inside-cover credit in a reasonably large print run, if that helps - I know it helps motivate me, War Story notwithstanding.

I can be contacted by PM here, or at eric@micralyne.com, and if someone is interested, I'm happy to initiate phone conversations to help solidify a relationship.

Thanks,

- Eric

Update - I decided to jump in, and the water really is fine.  I commend the guys at PhpBB for their excellent product; my forums are up and satisfactorily running.  No further help seems to be required.

(For the curious, links will follow once there's enough content that someone new can grasp the game instead of just being confused.)

Thanks to those who responded,

- Eric
