I remember seeing, on not one, but several threads, on how Jake, on thinking of it, would have had armor CP penalties a bit differently, and made a few suggestions, even a possible speculation on putting the changes in a later book perhaps.

Did he finally make a decision on that? I've been off-board for a couple months until recently, and thats a lot of stuff to look through from all those threads. I figured I'd just try and get a direct answer.

(and if I missed it elsewhere, my apologies now....)

EDIT: Or will those be in The Flower of Battle?

Look for it in a Flos Duelatorium near you...

Yeah, there'll be a big section on armor & shields in TFOB (already written, in fact).

I think we should just all stop talking about TFOB (but I'm going to post this stupid comment anyway).  Waiting is driving me insane with anticipation...and continually asking about it just make it worse...for me...and that's what counts...NT

Salamander,

No, it's not. But we are working very heavily on it.

Nah, I'm just taking piss with you lot... I am aware of the Flos Duelatorium being emminent and am eager to see how Brian and Jake have answered our questions and wait to see how similar the official answers are to my house rules.

I have an idea that the armour rules will be much more comprehensive and firearms will be covered. I am eager to see how seiges, land battles and naval battles are done.

Is there going to be any treatment on when and where various armor and weapon types were used?  For example, if I wanted an British anglo-saxon invaders vs. roman leftovers feel, what types are appropriate?
