Does this mean that the Gloranthan cannon canon is canon?

Yes, but I think this whole thread is cannoning off in the wrong direction.

The Durulz have been shooting themselves out of canons in my Glorantha for decades.

Makes you wonder about the Gloranthan origin of the cry "Duck!" as a warning against incoming projectiles. It's not as quacked... er... cracked a theory as it appears at the surface. :)

All this begs the questions: Can non-canons be canonical? Can non-cannons? Can either be cannonical as well as canonical? Can on-canon cannons be considered self-propelled artillery? Can on-cannon canons be considered self-propelled itinerants?

I disagree with the original post. The letter n appears twice in canon, once in the middle and once at the end.

LOL!
I didn't think we'd get much mileage out of the duck-cannon. Suffice to say, I think it now qualifies as canon.

Have I mentioned (borrowing a bit from Hex Games here) the Seshnelan Cathedralpult? It is canon, though not a cannon. And, although, it doesn't involve the ducks, it is frequently filled with communal worshippers when launched at approaching armies...

Oh no... let's hope one of my players in particular never sees this. Yes, he plays a Duck. He has been thrown into fights, while drunk. After that, he *asked* to be thrown into fights.. :(

Oh no... Jane, you have just radically altered the way I shall look at the LoTR films from now on.

"Nobody tosses a ... Duck!"
The pain...

And he was doing this long before the film came out :(

He reckons it's as close as he's ever going to get to flying.

As Peter said -  only 1 "n" in "canon". The other one is at the end of "canon".
