Well, now I can respond. From your previous description, I would do 3 things.

1. Read Fantasy Heartbreakers http://www.indie-rpgs.com/article.php?num=10.

2. Clearly state your design goals. Is this for free? Is it for personal use? Design experience?

3. Reread Fantasy Heartbreakers.

What are you trying to accomplish? What sort of actual play are you looking for?

In the related thread in the Indie Gaming forum, you mentioned Diablo, Everquest, and D&D. Both Diablo and Everquest have seen conversions to tabletop D20 (by WOTC and WW, respectively). What aspects of these games are you looking to replicate? What aspects of these games are you looking to discard? What features are you looking for that are not present in these games?
