[GenCon 2005] Phone list
«

If you have a cell phone and you are part of the Forge GenCon booth in any capacity, you will want to be on the booth phone list.
Send cell phone numbers and your name, via e-mail only (PMs will be ignored), to
crnixon@gmail.com
. I will publish these on a hidden webpage and send you back access to the page.
Thank you.

I don't mind giving my cell number to the booth sponsors and management, but is it neccessary to give everyone access to the list?

Clinton,
You have my number already and my blessing to post it to other participants.

Probably. Because it might be Joe Booth Monkey who is desperately trying to get a hold of you because your game has sold, there's none in the stock room and four people who want to buy it right NOW.
Although as a general note, it seems polite to give me access to any list that my number will appear on.
thanks,
James

It's not like we're going to sell your number to telemarketers or something.
On a side note, Clinton, I'm sure your web skills are better than mine, but you might want to password protect that page or at least set it up so the search engines can't pick it up. I once compiled a phone list for for my fraternity alumni only to find out the "hidden" page I put the list on was picked up by Google.

Change in policy
: I, as well as the booth sponsors, will have a comprehensive phone list. Our numbers will be published - to get in touch with someone else, you'll need to call us.
My number is 504-400-3389. I will be at the Convention Center at 11am on Wednesday. Feel free to call me to find everyone else.

Clinton,
Good to know. I'm emailing you my cell number.
Danielle and I will be arriving Wednesday, probably between 2:00 and 4:30, and I'll have the game display unit in the bed of my truck. Typically I call someone in advance of reaching Indianapolis so they can muster a couple of booth ninjas for when we pull into the loading area, bring our badges out to us and help bring the unit itself into the convention center where I can assemble it.
