It seems like cashing out Secrets and Keys to gain new ones and spending XP on the spot for what is happening in game is a big part of successful TSoY play.

Aye, maybe I'm wrong.

But I only have one copy of the book and the players aren't familiar.  Am I to assume that they will gain some familiarity with the way it works during character generation?  Should I print out a list of Keys and Secrets?

Thoughts?

Absolutely.  Everyone should have the text of their keys and secrets in front of them.

This leads to the next question:

Are the Secrets and Keys in the Revised different than the Secrets and Keys I can copy and paste from the original online version onto some reference pages?

They're not that changed, but I've got something even better:

All the revised Secrets and Keys on one PDF

Is there a reason the Human Species Secrets aren't listed in this document? Have they been eliminated from the Second Edition?

Yes, looks like it.  The second (refresh through romance) is redundant, and the other could just be converted into an extra advance for humans, if the SG houseruled as much.
