Want to help change the face of roleplaying games? Want to be in the burning inner circle? Want to see what the hell I've been doing for the past 6 months?

Answered yes to all three? Then you want to playtest this game. You'll need a group of 3 to 6 players (including the GM). This playtest requires a serious commitment of six to seven sessions of play over the next two months and the contribution of feedback regarding said playtest. It also requires a promise of discretion during the playtesting process -- something I take very seriously.

please PM here if you're interested. Comments and speculation are welcome in this thread.

Comments and speculation are welcome in this thread.

I heard that this game was developed when Luke spent the Autumn living in the woods naked, sitting in the lotus position, eating and drinking nothing, spending three months staring at a smooth stone, contemplating nothing.

Is that so? I thought this was the one he designed in close cooperation with the late Mark Chagal, who would illustrate a page at a time, anticipating Luke's instruction on the details by minutes. Reportedly Chagal complained about opaque fancy-pants terminology like the eponymous "artha" afterwards.

... of course, not saying those both can't be true. I have my sources, I tell you.

Do we get any hints? Like is this BW related, or left field material? Don't hold us in the icy grip of mystery.

I won't go into too much detail on this project...

...but Thor lost an eye because of an "incident" during playtesting. And Droz... They don't know when he's coming out of his coma.

I caught a glipse of it when I was in NYC and... well... let's just say me and the wife need to adopt now to have kids...

Everything about the game, from the mechanics, to the artwork, to the layout just screams creepy, creepy, creepy at me. I love it.

Comatose Drozdal in the Dolphin costume at BWHQ has become something of a pilgrimage site for Polish folks from all over the diaspora. In fact there are reports of immaculate conceptions. The fact that you were made sterile speaks to your dubious parentage.

Also, people, PLAYTEST THIS! what are you waiting for?

We keep playing Swanee on the old 78, alternating with Polish boy band, with hopes that it will bring the Dro back to the waking life.

It has burnt its way into my soul. Its mechanics now structure my dreams. I am scarred.

The Ithaca Posse, by unanimous e-mail vote, has decided to put The Vault on hold and partake of this playtest.

Burn us with the information by the usual channels so we can get this mutha started.
